There is a variety of evidence illustrating the transformative power of assessment in medical education. At the same time, deans, teachers and other stakeholders often find themselves in the gap between what is known from the literature and what they are actually able to apply in their institutions.
In the 2nd international EBMA conference on assessment we would like to find ways to implement sustainable, long-term, evidence-based changes to local assessment practice so it can be truly transformative, meaningful and learner-friendly? The programme of the 2017 Annual EBMA Conference aims to provide answers to this question by assembling various assessment specialists from several countries that will share their state-of-the-art expertise in assessment with all participants.
